McLaren Racing had a very good season of Formula 1 in 2024, with an Miami update package through turning the tides and cementing the team like the one that must overcome Abu Dhabi.
With a global championship of global manufacturers to their credits for the first time in more than two decades, McLaren will surely enter a higher note in 2025, but what is the next step for the Woking -based team? Zak Brown can have an idea.
McLaren hoped that his 2024 Formula 1 season was as intelligent as it has become.
You will see, with Zak Brown at the head of McLaren Racing and Andrea Stella piloting the outfit as team director, there is no doubt in the brain of the team that had the mandatory bases to assume a challenge for the championship. I did not expect it to take place in 2024.
Brown and Stella admitted that the team is on an ascending trajectory, they hoped to fight Red Bull and Max Verstappen for the Global Brandas championship and the world piloted championship in the coming years, not in the middle of the way until 2024 and the global championship.
But when McLaren is an update package in Miami, the season changed. Lando Norris won his first victory in the Grand Prix, and the coherence of the team saw him sneak in the head of the COE.
Although Norris could not oppose Verstappen’s domination, the team itself prevailed to win a championship for the first time in 26 years.

Going to Sky Sports F1 after the ABU Dhabi Grand Prix in 2024, the McLaren Racing CEO, Zak Brown, only had a compliment by Norris.
“This race, he transported us,” Brown said. “They make mistakes.
“We were worried about protection cars. I worried everything. He led perfectly, as he did. “
At this point, Brown took a moment to make a bold prediction in the position in which he intends that his team has finished in 2025.
“Then, [we try] to repeat the brands and obtain the controllers,” Brown.
“I’m going to let Oscar and Lando that. “
At the end of the year, Norris swore that 2025 will be “his” year, exercising his complaint on WDC very much. When asked about Norris’s confidence through Sky Sports F1, Brown seemed to feel the same.
“He will give everything he has, and taking into account the impulse he is in, he would bet on him,” Brown said.
