Milan’s craziest bodybuilder, Zagato, has unveiled an old limited edition car, this time built on the Corvette Z06 with a boring 6.8-litre LT4. Called Iso Rivolta GTZ, this great carbon tourism will pay homage to the amazing Iso Grifo A3 of 1963, an Italian masterpiece that also works with a Chevy V8.
Zagato’s past Italian-American business includes the Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale, which was discovered in the Dodge Viper ACR-X. This time, since Iso used the Chevrolet 327 for the A3, Zagato has opted for the supercharged Corvette with maximum sensitivity, to announce that the first iso Rivolta GTZ production will be delivered from October. The bodybuilder added that nine of the 19 they intend to do have already discovered their homes.
Written through Bertone’s Giorgetto Giugiaro and designed through Giotto Bizzarrini, the original Iso A3/L temporarily spawned a festival variant known as A3/C, after which Renzo Rivolta continued to call the Road Car tap GL and generate it in Iso. Bresso. Bizzarrini was not a fan of this concept and brought his A3/C to Le Mans at Piero Drogo’s workshop in Modena. Their association collapsed just after production began in 1965, after Renzo Rivolta’s death, and only 22 of those cars were completed before the company’s bankruptcy in 1974. Bizzarrini S.p.A closed five years earlier.
While the record shows that Enzo Ferrari, giotto Bizzarrini’s former boss, is not the simplest user to paint with, nor Giotto.

Looking at the new Zagato, some of you may not forget that this is not the first “Renaissance of Iso Rivolta” founded on the Corvette’s performance. In the early 1990s, Renzo Rivolta’s son Piero consulted Marcello Gandini and commissioned Dallara to expand a chassis and propulsion system that could also revive his family business circle, a car called Iso Grifo 90. The assignment temporarily crashed into a wall and was most commonly forgotten until 2007, when Gandini’s original taste was rediscovered, to turn it into a genuine car through a guy named Federico Bonomelli, who opted for a C5 Z06 established through Callaway as a base.
Once this order has been fulfilled, the Iso Grifo 90s of the 90s have become an exclusive product. Zagato now promises that his Iso Rivolta GTZ will be a little more common in 19 units.
Nothing is yet known about the strength of a boring Z06, but Zagato promises more data by revealing the car, where they will invite some of the “more than 4500 members of the Iso Rivolta club” from around the world.
