You may have to wait 18 months before receiving your new Ford Bronco due to a large number of pre-orders.

A leading company aimed at virtual transformation.

Thanks to the huge initial interest in the highly anticipated Ford Bronco, which soon crashed into Ford’s reserve, it now turns out that some consumers are waiting a long time before receiving their new all-rounder.

Booking a new Bronco doesn’t take much; all you have to do is locate a dealer, specify the style you need and pay $100 for the refundable deposit. Ford has not specified the number of orders placed so far, however, it was sufficient to wait 18 months before some consumers simply receive delivery, according to Car and Driver.

“Reservations have been so popular that some Bronco customers may not receive their Bronco until 2022,” a Ford spokesperson told the outlet. They also said Broncos for reservation-holding customers will be built first, so the fastest way for you to get your Bronco is by making a reservation, not waiting for them to hit dealer lots.

Ford also told Car and Driver that this isn’t a delay. “We said first deliveries would start in spring 2021,” the spokesperson said. “That’s still correct.”

A Ford spokesperson also confirmed as much to Business Insider.

“Bronco two-door and four-door model deliveries are on-track to start in Spring 2021,” they said. “We have not provided any mention beyond this.”
