Yokogawa Electric Corp. (Tokyo) created Yokogawa Innovation Switzerland GmbH to build a forged foundation for its bioeconomy business, immediate and proactive market studies and the progression and advent of complex biotechnology. Commercial operations for the new subsidiary will begin in August.

Yokogawa Innovation Switzerland is located in Allschwil, near the city of Basel, which is the European center of the biotechnology and life sciences industry.
