Woman dead at the scene of duplex explosion in Utah

SMALL PLANE CRASH LANDS IN UTAH BACKYARD AFTER ENGINE FAILURE

The woman’s body was discovered around 8 a. m. , after the chimney was extinguished.

A woman has been found dead after an explosion at a home in Utah (Fox News).

Another woman was safely evacuated from the second unit of the space and a puppy was discovered a few hours after the explosion. Authorities believed there were no other occupants in the duplex.

Surrounding homes were heavily damaged by the blast, Fork U. S. Fire Battalion Chief Brandon Boshard told KSL-TV.

The identity of the victim was not immediately released and the government was investigating the cause of the explosion.

American Fork is a city of more than 37,000 people about 30 miles south of Salt Lake City.
