Wingrove Motor Company Peugeot to Newcastle Citroen showroom

Wingrove Motor Company will upload a Peugeot franchise to its Citroen dealership to Silverlink Newcastle.

The Newcastle-based car retail group, which has concessions in Silverlink, Newcastle, Cramlington and Ashington, operates Citroen, Peugeot and DS franchises and is expected to invest 750,000 euros in the measure component.

Upgrading the electric vehicle infrastructure will be a component of the franchise updates, which are being rolled out when Wingrove celebrates its 95th anniversary.

Chief executive, Josh Parker, told Bdaily that while 2020 is “a challenge for everyone,” the company remains “smart.”

He added: “We are that we will continue to grow in the years leading up to our 100th anniversary.

“Our industry has noticed changes in our lives, especially in recent years.

“We started offering electric cars shortly after their availability, we have exhibited more than a dozen other electric/rechargeable hybrid cars and are able to capitalize on long-term expansion in this market dominance.

“The Silverlink dealership renovation is indeed impressive and we are very pleased with the prospect that, along with our newly renovated West Road site, they will help us achieve our expansion plans.”

Wingrove’s most recent published accounts, for the era until December 31, 2018, showed a 43% increase in sales to 43.2 million pounds.

However, the company recorded an earlier tax loss of 16,588 euros, up from 42,310 euros in 2017, following the acquisition of the Peugeot Robins and Day dealership on Benton Road, Newcastle, adding 32 new members.
