Windsor Woman Injured When Buick Slides On Sidewalk

A Windsor woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Friday morning in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2015 Buick Encore, driven by a 48-year-old woman from Windsor, was on the Highway 13 bypass at Highway 50 around 8 a.m., when the Buick skidded across the roadway and struck a curb.

The woman suffered minor injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by private vehicle for treatment.

The Buick had extensive damage and was towed from the scene.
