Will this be the interior of Tesla’s next “Robotaxi”?

Tesla has released a new video that includes images of the interior of a vehicle never seen before. Could this be the first concept of Robotaxi?

For the past few years, Tesla has been using a vehicle designed from the ground up to be an autonomous vehicle. The company calls it “Robotaxi. “

CEO Elon Musk insists that Tesla is still committed to providing the promised self-driving capability to existing cars delivered since 2016 through a software update, but it also has to build a new vehicle designed entirely around the fact that it will be driverless.

Not much is known about the vehicle, except for hints that it will have a steering wheel or pedals and that in terms of design it will look like a “Cybertruck”.

Today, Tesla released a new video, in which Musk sought to make it clear that he was not involved, in an attempt to inspire shareholders to vote for his $55 billion payment package and move the company’s incorporation status to Texas:

In the video, many pointed to a photo of the interior of a vehicle that doesn’t fit with anything Tesla has released to date:

Vaporware: Robotaxis companies conduct tests on the road. Waymo makes 50,000 paid trips per week. Where is Tesla? It’s not a single vehicle there. This is a procedure where you will need to gradually check that your product works. Tesla is just talking and pumping stocks.

Waymo works, Tesla speaks

The symbol shows what appears to be a two-seater vehicle with no steering wheel or screen between the one found in existing Tesla vehicles.

The seats don’t look like those found in modern cars and look more like those found on public transportation, such as a train:

Tesla plans to unveil its “Robotaxi” on August 8. The automaker recently accelerated its timeline for the vehicle and plans to market it next year.
