Who Augustus in ‘Percy Jackson?’ Episode 6

Percy’s mystical quest to locate the missing lightning bolt continues at the Lotus Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, where the audience gets to a new character. Who plays? Based on six fantasy novels written by Rick Riordan, the popular books for mid-level academics are set in a world where the Greek gods of the 21st century meet. The Disney original series, adapted from The Lightning Thief, tells the story of Percy. Jackson, a 12-year-old demigod who has just discovered his godlike powers when the sky god Zeus accuses him of stealing his thunderbolt. Jackson relies on his friends Grover (Aryan Simhadri) and Annabeth (Leah Jeffries) to help him. locate it and repair the order to Olympus.

No, Augustus is not represented by Mark Hamill despite their striking resemblance. Percy Jackson’s Augustus is portrayed by Canadian actor and playwright Ted Dykstra. Dykstra is best known for playing Bach in Bach’s The Struggle for Freedom and Ed Broadbent in Mulroney: The Opera. As for his voice work, he played the role of Papa Tiger in Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood and Reg in RoboRoach.

(Warning: Spoilers for episode 6 below. ) After helping Ares retrieve his shield in episode 5, the trio go to the Lotus Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas to track down Hermes (Lin-Manuel Miranda) so that the messenger god can send his driving force to Pick Him Up. Augustus informs Grover that Pan is at the hotel and wants his help to “break through” to him.

Unfortunately, Augustus loses his memory and Grover is speechless when he realizes that other people don’t lose their memory by eating lotus flowers. Instead, the infection is airborne, making it impossible to escape. As Grover approaches his friends, he suddenly can’t forget who they are and continues with Augustus to track down Pan.

After all, semipassds meet Hermes at the casino tables. Annabeth uses her date with Luke to convince Hermes to allow them into the underworld. Although Annabeth and Percy have had little effect from the Lotus Eaters, Percy realizes that they have been inside the hotel for days instead of minutes, which affects the timeline of their search for him.

Fortunately, Annabeth stole Hermes’ keys when she knew he wouldn’t help them. Before they set out on their quest to locate Hades, they’ll have to track down Grover. Annabeth and Percy recognize Augustus, who flees upon hearing Grover’s name. They eventually track down Grover (who doesn’t remember them) and try to take Hermes’ car to California. As if by magic, the trio arrives at Santa Monica Beach, where Percy is about to be reunited with his father.

When Percy goes to meet his father, the Nereid that Percy met in episode four appears, informing him that the summer solstice (the deadline for returning Zeus’ main lock) has passed. He also says that Poseidon is now preparing for war. and that he has been tasked with delivering a message from the past to his son. “It’s not your fault. You are brave. You’re strong. You made your father proud. Now it’s time for you to go back to camp. “Poseidon’s message reads.

Although Percy is released from his quest, he refuses to comply. He tells the Nereid that Hades is plotting something worse. “I have to avoid it. I’ve got to keep going,” Percy told him, begging for his help. Poseidon presents Percy with 4 magical pearls, the Nereid, which allow everything that is from the sea to belong to him. “Save the world. . . And then come in, save your mother,” he said.
