Lansing – Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is scheduled for Monday at the Democratic National Convention with former Vice President Joe Biden’s vice president Kamala Harris, who will do so on Wednesday, August 19.
News of the conference schedule came Tuesday when Biden, the alleged Democratic nominee, announced that Harris, a U.S. senator from California, would be his vice-presidential nominee. Whitmer, one of Biden’s finalists.
Preparation for the virtual Democratic conference has forced prospective speakers to fight to find suitable places to comment, and even the governor of Michigan has been told not through at least one Detroit automaker. U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders also rejected a nomination speech through former United Auto Workers President Bob King in a union corridor in the Detroit metropolitan area.

Harris and Whitmer were the most productive applicants to be Biden’s vice-presidential candidate. Whitmer traveled on August 2 to meet with the former vice president of Delaware.
Next to Whitmer on Monday’s list of speakers are Sanders, the self-identifying Democratic socialist, and former first Michelle Obama. The theme of Monday’s festivities is “We, the People.”
