The women of The White Lotus season 2 reunited at the 2024 Emmys, and they came dressed to kill.
Like Lucia and Mia, their best friends, dynamic duo Simona Tabasco and Beatrice Grannò coordinated ensembles, both with flowers. Tabasco, virtually unrecognizable without her iconic bob, wore a custom-made Marni dress, a standout piece from the brand’s spring 2024 collection. Grannò wore a shiny black dress by Armani Privé with modern red rosettes and a black bow at the bust. (It should be noted that, despite their prescience, neither of them felt too uncomfortable. )
Meghann Fahy, who gained recognition for her role as Daphne Sullivan, who was cheerful and reserved, was also a fan of the beloved floral trend. The actor kept things pretty undeniable in his beloved strapless dress with rosette embellishments and minimal jewelry. However, with his deep red Armani Privé, Fahy makes it clear that less is more.

Aubrey Plaza, nominated for her role as the frigid Harper Spiller, turned to Loewe for her special night. The actress wore a champagne-colored gown with an oversized knitting needle across the top, which she paired with metallic gold platform peep toes.
Jennifer Coolidge, also nominated for her second (and likely last) role as the infinitely quotable Tanya McQuoid, opted for a darker tone, a sartorial homage to her character. She wore a black empire waist dress by Etro, with a dahlia pattern, micro-pleats, ruffles, and lace galore. Perhaps the report of Monica Vitti attending a funeral?
Unfortunately, it seemed like an actor was nowhere to be found: Haley Lu Richardson, who played the hapless Portia. While we’ll never know what she would have worn to the ceremony, we can only hope she pulled out a crochet piece. in honor of Portia. (Although we think he would have swapped the vest and bucket hat for The Row or Diotima. . . )
