When will the cars arrive in spite of everything in “Fortnite”? Put yourself in a position of bad news

Cars and trucks were supposed to zoom into Fortnite: Battle Royale this past week, but for reasons which remain a mystery this didn’t happen.

There was even a challenge revealed for yesterday’s lot that charged players to make fuel at Catty Corner who, for apparent reasons, failed to make the final cut.

Therefore, we do not know why cars have not been added, we can assume that this has something to do with technical disorders and / or the PANDemia of COVID-19 underway, however, we have a concept of when they will arrive even though everything arrives.

Unfortunately, the “when” is not a date or a close moment. Yesterday, Epic Games tweeted:

The tweet is from the point of view of the fictional insurance company No Sweat and attributes the delay to the company’s lawyers, incompetent jesters who mistook otters. It reads:

“Fender Bender? #Pas sweating.

“Falling off the gas? It’s covered.

“Our lawyers are lately transforming the main points of the police and correcting typos such as ‘otter coverage’ of automatic coverage. For this reason, many cars were removed for inspection.

“Wait a few weeks before we’re in a position to hit the road.”

That last line is all we know for now about cars coming to Fortnite. Expect a few weeks. Will that be three weeks? Four weeks? Longer?

It’s unimaginable to say. But there are only four weeks left in Chapter 2, Season 3, so unless the season is extended, it’s quite imaginable that we won’t see cars in the game until Season Four. This may be for the best. After all, this season is true to the water. Why not make season four a car story? Epic deserves to take its time and get it right, so it’s probably more productive that cars have been delayed, even disappointing.

I write about video games, tv and movies.
