The “brand” of a car is its brand, such as Chevrolet, Lexus or Lincoln, and style is the call of a branded vehicle, such as the Chevrolet Equinox, Lexus RX or Lincoln Navigator.

Some logo names are the same as the manufacturer’s name, such as Ford, Honda and Toyota, all of those brands also have other logos.
The logo is not the same as that of a vehicle manufacturer, because many brands have more than one logo. For example, Ford owns the Lincoln logo; Honda has Acura; and Toyota has Lexus.
GM manufactures 4 brands or brands: Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC. Volkswagen manufactures 8 other car brands worldwide: Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche, SEAT, Skoda and Volkswagen.
And then there’s Mazda, who abandoned the classic style calls for his sedans several years ago and called them Mazda3 and Mazda6. This means that official, as in a form of DMV registration, the logo is “Mazda” and the style call is, for example, “Mazda3” or “Mazda6”. (Ask an owner which car you drive, and the answer will probably just be the style call)..

Model names can surround multiple frame styles. Over the years, for example, the Honda Accord and Civic have been acquired in the form of sedans, coupes, hatchbacks and family car circles.
In style lines, there is also a hierarchy of final grades based on popular characteristics and price. The LX is, for example, the final level of the cheapest and most modestly supplied Civic.
