CCTV footage released in court today (Wednesday) showed how Robert Wilson, 53, investigates young people outdoors at Thornton’s pharmaceutical plant.

The audio recorded by Mr. Wilson at a security company captured the youngest of the two, who was 15 at the time, shouting “take off his head, I need to cut off his head, Kia, I need to cut off his head.”

The recording, also broadcast in court, captured the evening supervisor’s calls to the youth to prevent their attack.

The father of two, of Birstall, has been described as a “loving and committed husband and father” throughout his family.

Peter Makepeace QC, a pursuer, told Leeds Crown Court that Earnshaw introduced the attack after generating the blue sword from the back of his tracksuit.

After it started to rain blows on Mr. Wilson, the young teenager heard himself constantly screaming, “Pass me the cane, pass me the cane.”

After several kicks and kicks at Mr. Wilson, Earnshaw passed the sword to the defendant.

Mr. Makepeace said: “(The boy) approaches Mr. Wilson and his right hand stabs Mr. Wilson with 11 full-force shots, starting with his back but moving around his head forward, leaning over to take momentum as he does.

“(The boy) returns the sword to Earnshaw. Earnshaw then uses either hand to wield the sword in a hash action, as one can use an ax, five times on the left side of Mr. Wilsons body before of stabbing him 3 more times on the back of his right hand. “

Makepeace said the couple stopped at some point to catch his breath and stir Mr. Wilson, taking off his coat.

The prosecutor said that after resuming the attack, “Earnshaw and (the boy) who hold the sword in combination and crouch in the upper frame seem to make a concerted effort to see the head from the shoulders.”

“Then the two stab the upper frame together with their combined strength.”

Mr. Makepeace stated that after more beatings of the boy, “Earnshaw then takes the gun and begins to seek to cut off Mr. Wilson’s feet and sword.”

“Then he backs up and cuts Mr. Wilson’s head 15 times, wielding the sword like a two-handed axe.

“As he visibly tires, (the child) gestures toward the sword and grabs it.Looks like they’re fighting for the gun.

“The audio images at that time record (the child) saying “Take off his head, I cut off his head, Kia, I cut off his head.”

The police who arrived at the scene reported seeing one of the men “using the sword cutting the mastery of the deceased’s neck as if he were going to untie the head of the body.”

Mr Makepeace stated that Earnshaw had been shot twice before his arrest and that officers had used a disabling spray on the child.

The court heard that Mr. Wilson had left the factory to communicate with the youth in the parking lot with his colleagues Paul Thewliss and John Badejo.

Mr. Badejo was seriously injured while seeking to help his friend and the two men were forced to flee to save their lives, Mr. Makepeace.

He said: “There is no indication that they were anything more than polite and decent in their dealings with other young people once they met in the parking lot.”

Both defendants admitted to murdering Mr Wilson and causing Mr. Badejo to intentional physical harm.

The opening of the continuing and the couple will be sentenced later on Wednesday.

Makepeace said defendants were seen taking “watered vodka and other alcohol” pills as they hung out in Huddersfield with their friends before the January incident.

He said that after his arrest, Earnshaw had altered his speech, asking why he had been arrested and complaining about police harassment.

He told police he had taken cocaine and the tranquilizer Xanax.

Tests on the drugs Earnshaw owned on him revealed that it was flualprazolam, a synthetic substance similar to Xanax that produces drowsiness, confusion and disinhibition.

Mr. Makepeace stated that an autopsy examination by Mr Wilson “confirmed at least one hundred acute force injuries in the frame” concentrated in the head, neck and upper area of the frame.

The prosecutor said: “There is only one wound compatible with a defensive wound and that of the left thumb, indicating that Mr. Wilson could not resist.”

The court heard that Mr. Wilson married, had two adult children and enjoyed gardening, golfing and walking in Yorkshire Dales.

His wife Elaine told the court that his death was “completely incomprehensible,” adding: “How the hell did we get to this point and why?”

He said he disliked getting a letter from one of the defendants saying it was “the worst night of my life and ‘sorry’.”She told the opinion that she was surprised to “feel so much hate.”

She told the defendants, “I need you to know that you took the life of a much-respected, admired man.”

Mr. Badejo told the court that the security guards at the Thornton plant

He said, “We haven’t done our homework. There’s been security.”
