Weld County government seeks a driving force that crashed at the site of a structure and fled the scene

WELD COUNTY, Colo. – The Weld County Sheriff’s Office will identify a guy who crossed a structure zone and fled the scene on Tuesday.

At approximately 11 a. m. on Tuesday, the driving force of a Chevrolet Suburban that drove south on Highway 77 in Weld County and crashed through two barricades near Weld 100, about 10 miles north of Briggsdale, where the structure’s teams ran on a bridge near Pawnee’s National Prairie. No injuries were reported, the sheriff’s workplace said.

Weld County workers stopped and confronted the driver, according to the sheriff’s office, who recorded granulated photographs of the interaction.

In the video, the driving force heard him say he hadn’t noticed the barricades because he had looked at his phone. A worker then reported seeing a fifth of unsealed whiskey in the passenger seat and asked the guy if he had been drinking, according to the sheriff’s office. The driving force apologised and left after noticing that it was recorded.

The man’s car described as a silver 1992-2002 Chevrolet Suburban with Wyoming plates. The side mirrors on both sides broke after it hit the barricades, according to the sheriff’s office.

The white boy, about 60 years old, with grey hair and grey beard, wore black-rimmed glasses. At the time, he was wearing a red and black checkered flannel shirt.
