A CAR expert has a 1984 “base” Honda with 70 miles on the road and no air conditioning or radio.
A car review site on TikTok called TFL Studios, which has 1.2million followers, showed off the “brand new” Civic in a short video.
The commentary says: “This is a brand new 1984 Honda Civic with under 70 miles on it and it’s amazing just how basic you could buy these cars.”
It then shows that the old-fashioned vehicle doesn’t have locks or forced windows.
The center console has no air conditioning (only heating) and the radio slot is just a blank sign indicating Honda.
“The funny thing is you still have the speaker covers, but they’re blank,” he continued.
“There’s nothing in it. It’s even more fundamental than that. There’s no rear view on the passenger side. “
The reviewer also explained that the car is not yet equipped with alloy wheels, with 13-inch metal wheels.
There are black plastic bumpers, sealed beam headlights and a plastic cap where you’d expect an antenna.
And fans were quick to comment on the video, which has received more than a million views and 80,000 likes.
