The Canadian Autonomous Way Walking company Waabi has signed an agreement with the autonomous responses of Volvo to expand and display autonomous trucks.

Waabi says its AV2.0 approach is based on an end-to-end interpretable and verifiable AI model, powered by the industry’s most realistic neural simulator, enabling autonomous trucks that can safely adapt to different scenarios on the road. The Waabi Driver will be integrated into the Volvo VNL autonomous for testing this year.

Volvo Group’s venture capital arm has been a strategic investor in Waabi since January 2023.
