Announced on July 24, Travala’s local AVA token will now be added to the Swipe wallet service and Visa card platform, so it can be used in 60 million merchants.
AVA will also be supported through Samsung Pay, Google Pay and Apple Pay through Swipe’s integration with those services. In addition, the AVA token will be held for the 500,000 users of Swipe’s multi-asset virtual portfolio.
The news follows some time after the acquisition of Swipe through the main Binance encryption exchange and issuance via the trading platform of a cryptographic debit card powered through Swipe, Binance Card. Travala.com, meanwhile, migrated to Binance Chain in the fall of last year.
In addition to the integration of AVA into the Swipe platform, Swipe’s local SXP token will be added to Travala.com as the payment option for bookings at more than 2 million hotels in 230 countries.
These come with indexed hosting features in Expedia, Booking.com and Priceline, all of which have already been associated with Swipe to enable cryptographic booking services.
Travala consumers can pay with their exclusive AVA token and a giant list of major cryptographic assets that come with Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Dash (DASH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), EOS, Stellar (XLM), Cardano (ADA), Binance Chain (BNB), Monero (XMR), Tron (TRX), XRPR, XRPR
Speaking to Cointelegraph, Travala CEO Juan Otero said the two-way integration of Travala and Swipe’s local tokens would be “massive for adoption.”
When used with Swipe Visa debit cards, cryptocurrencies like AVA are immediately exchanged to fiat currency, making them usable where visa or cellular payments are accepted.
As reported in the past, Travala recently announced that its monthly sales increased to 205% in May compared to April, a imaginable sign of recovery after the main fall in reserves amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
In May, the company merged with TravelByBit, which provides flight booking facilities to more than six hundred airlines. By providing symbolized rewards and multiple encryption payment options, any corporation expects to be more resilient than the classic opportunities of the global recession.
