Vindis Group has introduced an “Express Car Purchase” retail platform that promises from the beginning, constant prices, financing and home delivery of all its franchised brands and fleet of used cars.
The group’s sales and marketing director, Peter Toop, told AM that the platform had been in progression for 3 years and, some progressions are still underway, admitted that he was “really excited” about the prospect of the new offering.
“We are very excited about this assignment and have already noticed many feedback from visitors and, unexpectedly, some consumers do all their acquisition online,” he said.
New, used and all cars are indexed on the new AM100 distribution organization platform.
Vindis’ transition to online retail in its network of 20 Audi, Volkswagen, Skoda Seat, Ducati, Bentley and VW commercial vehicles continues an exponential increase in demand for car buyers for online retail for the COVID-19 pandemic.
This trend is expected to fuel the emergence of virtual disruptors such as Cazoo and Carzam, introduced through Big Motoring World CEO Peter Waddell and former Cox Automotive international operations president John Bailey.
Explicit consumers of Vindis Group’s auto acquisition platform to pay in cash or through financing, with PCP, PCH, and HP features available.
Customers can then receive their vehicle at home or pick it up at the dealership.
Cambridgesrent-based company plans to rent to manage the expected expansion in online consultations.
Toop said the solution is expected to result in a greater balance of its “brick-and-click offer.”
“For us, it’s not about promoting all cars online, it’s about combining the visitor’s adventure online and offline or turning clicks into bricks and finding a way to serve all visitors as they wish,” he said.
“A visitor can complete elements of their online adventure and elements in the showroom, concluding their acquisition in which it best suits them.”
Toop told AM that Vindis’ e-commerce assignment “is far from over,” revealing that the progression paints are now underway with Bluesky Interactive to create a new interface for the online sales platform in order to seamlessly link their appearance to the rest of the group’s website. .
It is also a priority to establish a list of obstacles and strengthen the group’s virtual team to cope with the expected volume of online programs, adding for “out-of-hours” periods, he revealed.
Toop added, “In addition to these, we are working on CRM integration, implementing Volkswagen and Bentley advertising vehicle brands, and obtaining upfront costs for all brands.”
