Residents were “disgusted” after the thu gamblers painted cars in a series of crimes in Dundee.
The plates of the cars parked at Constitution Road, Smillie Court and Dudhope Park were broken, and the paint was destroyed with graffiti, adding the word “Covid”.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish police showed that police were investigating the incident, which allegedly occurred on Monday morning.
The owners of the cars told Tele that the symptoms that led to other people’s coronavirus control at Dudhope Castle had also moved.
As a result, one woman claimed that the drivers had mistakenly gone to Smillie Court thinking it was the verification site.
She added: “It’s disgusting what happened to everybody’s cars. My windshield and passenger door painted with spray.
“About nine o’clock yesterday morning, other people were leaving their cars thinking it was Covid-1nine’s control site because the signal indicated a front of one of the doors.
“It looks like I probably would have done it at Dudhope Park before they entered Smillie Court and then smashed a car window on Constitution Road.”
One woman said her Renault Megane was the target, before telling Tele police that she had “recovered” two spray paint pumps on the site.
He said so at the time that several cars had been attacked in the domain: a riot last September also saw broken plates.
She added: “My car also broke in last year’s incident. Last time they got rid of the vehicle plates with a hammer. In this case, several plates were sprayed.
“A car near mine was also sprayed with the word Covid, which is also very strange. I don’t even know how much he’s going to charge me for leaving blank.
“The police recovered spray paint and put it as evidence.”
A force spokeswoman added: “The police were called in this morning, Monday, August 10, following several reports of several cars being vandalized outdoors at the houses in Smillie Court, Dundee.
“Investigations into the incident continue.”
