Home ‘Models’ BMW M8’Video: BMW M8 Competition vs 911 Turbo S and LBW GT-R Drag Race
August 15, 2020/1 minutes of reading
The most recent edition of the Porsche 911 Turbo S was previously unveiled earlier this year. And the first notices are already appearing and, as usual, they can’t complain about anything. Many think the 911 Turbo S is the only supercar you can live with every day.
Of course, the M8 Competition can also be used every day without breaking your back while providing functionality in a hotline. And that’s why we’re here to see the M8 take on the Porsche 911 Turbo S. Attention, it’s the Turbo S, so it’s the high-end model. There is no faster Porsche 911 that can be purchased at this time and this doesn’t seem smart for the BMW.
The Porsche uses a 3.8-litre turbocharged six-cylinder flat engine for 650 hp and 800 Nm of torque. All this is sent to the 4 corners of the car with a dual-clutch PDK transmission with Launch Control. It will be 0 to 100 km / h (62 mph) in 2.7 moments, partly a faster time than the M8 Competition. The reason? More strength and torque, as well as a lighter overall construction.
The Nissan GT-R covered here was set up via Liberty Walk, as you can obviously see. It has crazy aerodynamics everywhere that might not help at the most sensible end. The engine is on, the 3.8-litre biturbo V6 generates unknown force because they do not specify how much it has. The couple is proposed: 830 Nm.
However, Mat says the M8 is the least rugged car here, so it’s something to keep in mind. Now let’s see how they gave up with him.
