Vertu Motors has put Citroen on the same roof as its existing Ford franchise in Worcester as a component of a 250,000 euro upgrade to the car dealership’s facilities.
The Cosgrove Close site has a two-logo franchise site with the creation of showrooms for each of the logos with which the distribution organization described as “an unbiased shared logo service and a guest center.”
Johnny Best, Managing Director of Bristol Street Motors Worcester Citroen (pictured), said: “The addition of the Citroen dealership to the existing Ford in Worcester is an exciting initiative for the Group.
“The showroom shines and the team is able to serve our customers, in accordance with our new social estrangement procedures.”
Citroen UK has been open to integration into showrooms that have also had brands for some time.
Earlier this week, AM announced that Wingrove Motor Company was about to load a Peugeot franchise at its Citroen car dealership at Silverlink Newcastle.
In February last year, former chief executive Karl Howkins told AM that Vauxhall, PSA Group’s strong partner, is among the ultimate logical features for multi-brand sites.
Bristol Street Motors’ new Citroen dealership offers a wide range of new hybrid and electric models from the brand, as does its existing portfolio of gasoline and diesel vehicles.
By 2025, Citroen is committed to generating an electrified edition of each and every car and van in its range.
According to social distance guidelines, the site lately has strong protection and fitness policies to ensure the protection of staff and customers, adding hand-disinfection stations at the dealership, the use of facial covers for staff and demo cars will only be unlocked when requested through a customer.
Once a visitor has noticed the demonstration car, a staff member will absolutely disinfect the car and lock it again, in a position for the next visitor, according to one issued on behalf of the Worcester operation.
