Also the condition of the fabric of the seats, as they can easily be damaged.
The vehicle does not comply with CO2 levels: several examples produced from the start of production until November 20, 2018 could have problems emitting the correct levels of CO2. An engine software update fixes this issue.
The instrument cluster could be left empty: A software factor in cars manufactured between September 1, 2016 and August 17, 2017 could cause the instrument cluster to go blank intermittently. A software update should fix this issue.
Fuel leak: There have been a few recalls similar to fuel leaks. The first is due to a fuel return hose that can also leak on models manufactured between November 1, 2016 and April 6, 2017. The timing considers gasoline models manufactured between Sept. 1, 2016, and Aug. 17, 2017, where a leak in the injection rail possibly occurred. The third and final recall relates to leaks from the fuel cooler installed on the first XE diesel aircraft through June 30, 2016. Either way, contact a Jaguar broker. to find out if any of them are affecting your car.
The engine may stall – the fuel source may become detached on some cars manufactured up to February 25, 2016, and any affected XE will require a Jaguar agent to install another clamp on the affected hose to resolve this issue.
Seat belt pretensioners: There were two recalls of pretensioners that didn’t work as well in a collision. The first applies to XEs manufactured between February 16 and December 16, 2016, while the second applies only to the driver’s seat for cars manufactured between September 22, 2015. and March 23, 2016.

Our knowledge suggests that the Jaguar XE is inferior in terms of reliability. In our Which Car 2023? According to a reliability survey, it ranked 17th out of 24 cars in the luxury car category, with 11. 3% problems. As a brand, Jaguar ranked 29th out of 32 manufacturers.
Exhaust disorders and non-engine-related electrical disorders were the disorders most cited by owners, accounting for 8. 6% of defects. Electrical suspension and engine disorders were also problematic, with a failure rate of 5. 7%.
The XE is less reliable than the petrol BMW 3 Series and Audi A4 models, and more reliable than the diesel Alfa Romeo Giulia and 3 Series models.
