Two other people were killed and a child seriously injured in a crash in Anne Arundel County.

ANNE ARUNDEL, CO. — Two young adults were killed and a teenager was seriously injured early Sunday in a twist of fate in Anne Arundel County, according to police.

Officers at 1:30 a. m. in the 4600 block of Mountain Road in a two-vehicle crash.

A 2008 Ford Focus was traveling east on Mountain Road when it crossed the yellow double line and head-on struck a 2018 Jeep Wrangler westbound, according to a statement.

Responding officers at the scene found Ford driver Ronald Bees, 19, and front passenger Alissia Hedrick, 18, shortly after medics pronounced them dead at the scene.

The 15-year-old rear passenger was transported to a domain hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Jeep, Christopher Johnson, 23, was taken to a domain hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

The Road Safety Section is investigating this incident.
