Two missing British women found ‘abandoned in a car’ near the search for Jay Slater in Tenerife

Two young British women have been found “abandoned in a car” near the search for missing teenager Jay Slater in Tenerife.

The two nationals, along with a baby, were located in a car on the Spanish island. The local police of Arona proved that the young people had been located when a resident saw the white Volkswagen Polo rental car parked under the direct sun. near the site where the government is searching for missing teenager Jay.

An unnamed 34-year-old resident discovered the two men inside the vehicle, along with the older seven-year-old girl, and explained that her father had left them there while he went to get a haircut at a nearby shopping mall. They were hesitant to get out and were able to open the door of the vehicle, CanarianWeekly reported.

The emergency was alerted through the woman in question. The police, having discovered documents relating to the father in the car after the women allowed them access, attempted to locate the father at the mall.

He then questioned a 38-year-old man, who first denied any link with the children. By order of the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office, the women were transferred to the Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles Paz Maternal Center, in La Laguna. An 18-year-old man admitted to being at fault for the car before fleeing the scene.

Another individual, possibly a 35-year-old Pole, arrived later claiming to be friends with the women’s father. Following a police investigation, a 27-year-old British woman presented herself as the women’s mother and the women were returned. The 38-year-old man is still missing and there is an arrest warrant in his name.

It comes as Jay Slater’s circle of relatives say they “remain hopeful” that he will be discovered when they release a new search for the missing teenager today (July 6). Jay’s father, Warren, and his brother Zak joined a team of 10 volunteers. to walk through the mountainous region of Tenerife where the 19-year-old disappeared. The organization spent several hours in temperature at 25°C while riding through the valley of the Barranco de Juan López, near the town of Masca.
