The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has reported that two other people were injured in a twist of fate on the Agbara-Badagry highway in Lagos.
He established that the twist of fate occurred on the Ibereko Barracks axis of the Badagry Expressway, in Lagos State.
The commander of the FRSC Badagry unit, William Manga, revealed this to reporters, confirming that the car’s turn of fate occurred at around 00:54 on Monday.
He said the command notified at approximately 00:57 hours and that officials arrived at the scene of the accident involving a car and a truck at 01:02 hours.
He said: “The twist of fate concerned a Howo truck with registration number KZR73ZT and a Mazda car with registration number KTU900BK. “
Manga noted that a man and a woman were injured in a twist of fate and were rushed to Badagry General Hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the FRSC has decided that the turn of fate was due to haste and unjustified overtaking.
He also urged drivers on the Agbara-Badagry highway to be aware of the existing single lane, while imploring drivers to respect the speed limit and carry out regular checks.
