Two were killed Wednesday in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 50 in Worcester County, in the Maryland State Police Report.
Police said the turn of fate occurred on July 29 on Highway 50 westbound at the intersection with Highway 610.
Brenda Joyce Gotinsky, 79, of Shelthrough Township, Michigan, making an attempt to cross the lanes west on Highway 610 north on a Nissan Versa when she crashed into a Ford F-250 truck driven through 44-year-old Anibal Morales Juarez, from Salisbury, who were traveling west on Highway 50, police said.

Gotinksy relented, police said.
Gotinsky and his passenger, Kathleen Fisher Chaney, 79, from Bishopville, died as a result of the accident.
Police said Juarez was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was taken to Berlin barracks and released.
Additional fees are pending after the investigation has completed and the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office consults the statement.
Route 50 was closed for approximately four hours as the crash was cleared.
