The couple, a 59-year-old man and a 49-year-old woguy, were arrested after their appearance, and the case was adjourned for a Dungannon Magistrates’ Court consultation later this month.
The PSNI said the driving force of the Land Rover Discovery did not stop and tried to flee, and then onto a sidewalk.
A post on the Central Ulster Police Facebook page said Thursday: “Last weekend busy for Central Ulster officers. On their way to another incident, a Dungannon team stumbled upon this Land Rover Discovery.
“After wondering how to drive, they tried to stop him. As he turned on the blue lights, the motive force did not stop and tried to flee. The vehicle entered Newell Road before reaching a sidewalk and stopped.
“While talking to the motive force, officers found a 14-year-old driving force. To make matters worse, the boy was accompanied by two passengers: his parents. “
