The East Lindsey District Council has announced that it will take legal action after two Skegness car parks “occupied illegally” through self-vans.

Reports and images show that caravans have been installed in The Hildreds parking lot and Richmond Drive bus park in the coastal city.

The council said it would begin legal proceedings today, Wednesday, August 12, to download a site recovery order.

On a social network, the East Lindsey District Council said: “We know that two of our car parks in Skegness (Hildreds and Richmond Drive Coach Park) are illegally occupied.

“We will take legal action to discharge a court order.”

Photos of Skegness citizens show that several vehicles are parked in the car parks.

One sign said Hildreds’ car parking “almost full as well as the bus parking lot near Lidl.”

This follows several recent incidents of giant teams of caravans that are installed at sites throughout the county, adding The Lawn on Lincoln and Woodville Road, Boston.
