Toyota’s global sales and production returns 90% of last year’s point in July 2020

Global sales forecasts have fallen by about 15% from July to September, about 5% from October to December and about 5% from January to March, returning to last year’s grades towards the end of this year through early next year.

Global production in July fell 10.2% from last year (compared to 24.0% in June), and the trend of recovery continues. Production in the United States and China exceeded last year’s levels and domestic production also returned to 78.0% of last year’s level.

Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) announces its sales, production and export effects from July 2020 and generally accumulated from January to July 2020, adding those of Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. and Hino Motors, Ltd.
