Toyota’s long-running Urban Cruiser attracted a lot of attention long before its launch. Given the uproar created around its new compact SUV, Toyota has officially announced the main booking points and some features for interested customers.
In addition to the reserve’s official main points, Toyota also revealed some features of the new Urban Cruiser.
New Toyota Urban Cruiser bookings will begin tomorrow, August 22. Buyers can make reservations by visiting the company’s dealers or online on the official website. The symbolic amount is 11,000 INR. While Toyota has revealed Urban Cruiser’s main official reserve points now, according to previous reports, unofficial bookings from long-term rival Hyundai Venue were already underway at some dealerships for a sum of INR 21,000.
In addition to the reserve’s official main points, Toyota also revealed some features of the new Urban Cruiser. Outside, there will be a dynamic two-cut wedge-shaped grille with a mastery of chrome and trapezoidal fog lights. It will also be accompanied by dual-camera LED projectors with dual-function DRL-cum-LED signs and LED fog lights. Customers will also have the option of 16-inch diamond alloy wheels and several two-tone hot color options, adding a unique brown hue.
The Toyota Urban Cruiser will draw its power from a 4-cylinder K-series 1.5-liter gasoline engine. The transmission will come with manual and automatic options. All AT variants will be supplied with a complex lithium-ion battery with an ISG (integrated starter generator) that provides torque assistance, regenerative braking, and idle start and stop functions.

Guests can also expect high-end interior seducers in two shades of dark brown, a spacious and ergonomic cabin, a smart front with engine start/stop button and automatic air conditioning. The Toyota Urban Cruiser will also have the following features:
