New Delhi: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) announced Thursday that bookings for your next Compact Suv Urban Cruiser will begin on August 22.
Reservations for the Urban Cruiser are open from August 22, for a nominal amount of Rs 11,000, TKM said in a statement.
Customers can make their reservations online on the company’s online page or at the nearest dealership, he added.
The Urban Cruiser would come with a 1.5-liter petrol engine along with transmissions and manuals, the car manufacturer said.
Automatic variants of the style will be supplied with a complex Li-Ion battery with an INTEGRATED ISG starter-generator (torque assistance, recovery braking and idling start-stop), he added.
The compact SUV will feature a number of features such as headlights with LED projector, smartphone navigation, among others.
“We sense that our consumers would like to know more about Toyota’s new vehicle so we can make an informed resolution on the vehicle of their selection this holiday season. Therefore, we look for our consumers with more data about the car before opening our reservations,” said Naveen Soni, TKM’s senior vice president of sales and services.
The model of less than four meters, founded in Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, will compete in a segment that has experienced a strong sales expansion despite a challenging business environment.
In addition to Vitara Brezza, the style would compete with Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon and the next Kia Motors and Nissan.
