Toyota Tacoma X-Runner Concept Featured in SEMA

Toyota unveiled a new pickup truck concept at SEMA in the U. S. , the Toyota Tacoma X-Runner Concept.

When asked about the inspiration to build an X-Runner concept for the SEMA show, Adam Rabinowitz, chief designer at Calty Design Research, Inc. of Toyota, shared part of the team’s idea process. “There were a lot of food trucks in the early 2000s and they’re gone, so on the one hand, it was an interest check to see if there’s a market for food trucks, or if the market has completely shifted to what we have today: rugged, rugged, augmented vehicles. ” Rabinowitz said.
