Total Petroleum Puerto Rico Corp. unveiled its new “Where’s My Truck?”platform to inform your fuel station and bulk consumers of real-time fuel deliveries.
The platform, developed through Total, makes the procedure transparent to the visitor, who can follow the truck’s direction until it reaches the delivery location. The formula updates the position of the truck and the orders in its direction by sending text messages with the data to the visitor.
There are 17 tanker trucks operated through Transport Truckers Co-op, which partners with Total to provide gas transport services. Total will provide real-time tracking notifications.
“Total’s purpose of continuous innovation is to provide our consumers with complementary solutions. The integration of this platform gives more to advertising consumers, adding greater power in the distribution and delivery process,” said Juan José Raga, Managing Director of Total Petroleum Puerto Rico Corp.
He explained that the formula eliminates the need to call to know the status of delivery, which he said will free consumers from any consideration of delivery time while removing greater satisfaction and certainty in the process.
Raga added that “Where’s my truck?” It has also allowed the operation of the service to evolve as, through the generation of automatic alerts for deliveries, staff now lose manual paints that were previously mandatory to supply the status of deliveries.
As of today, “Where’s my truck?”generates alerts for its two hundred service stations and giant consumers in Puerto Rico, he said.
