TIRS INNYC: Two and six wounded in gun violence in Queens and Brooklyn

Two others were killed and six others injured in shootings in Brooklyn and Queens overnight, according to police officers.

The Bronx and Manhattan were quiet overnight with sporadic reports of ShootingSpotter shootings and activation, but no casualties.

On Tuesday night, police in the 115th arrondissement won a 911 call at 10:45 p. m. of a user who shot at 26-49 96th Street in Flushing, Queens. Police discovered a 33-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Medical emergency services took the victim to Elmhurst Hospital, but they may not be saved. It’s not known who shot the guy or if there’s a reason for the attack.

At 12:56 a. m. on Wednesday, police in the 67th arrondissement won a call from a user shooting off 3310 Avenue D in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, where a crowd sits outside drinking. Police discovered a 41-year-old man. with a bullet in his arm and neck, a 35-year-old boy with a chest injury and a 32-year-old boy with a bullet in his neck.

The three men were transported by ambulance and personal vehicle to Kings County Hospital, where the 41-year-old man was pronounced dead on arrival. The other two men are in critical but solid condition.

Numerous shootings have occurred in this block, and local citizens claim that gang wars have devastated the community, in several homicides along Avenue D. February: Five members of a rival gang arrested in this case in July.

“I’m going around the block, thank you, honey, we didn’t turn around or we would have been in the crossfire,” said Loretto Francis, a local resident.

“He’s going crazy here, there’s too many shootings here, it’s like the wild west,” resident Carlos Hernandez said.

August 25, four p. m. – A man was shot in the leg while sitting outside 6four7 New Jersey Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn, police said at 75th Precinct.

The victim was taken to Brookdale Hospital, but has not yet cooperated with the police.

August 25, 7:30 p. m. – An unidentified guy is in critical condition after being shot in his BMW where he crashed into a sewer replacement at East 108th Street and Farragut Road in Canarsie, Brooklyn.

The victim was transferred through another personal vehicle to Brookdale Hospital with a neck injury, his condition not without known delay

Police in the 69th arrondissement discovered that the BMW had crashed into a structure barricade and an excavator: a bullet hole in the rear window of the car. The driver’s side window opened and blood on the vehicle.

It is not known where the shooting actually took place, but investigators could have happened further east of New York on Stanley and Williams Street due to ShotSpotter’s activation in that community a few minutes earlier.

August 25, 7:45 p. m. – A 51-year-old man is in custody after he is believed to have shot himself in the hand on Harguy Street and Irving Avenue in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

Police at 83rd Precinct said the victim entered Wycoff Hospital, where the guy first said he didn’t know where the shooting had come from, however, the wound indicated it was a short-range shot and then a gun was recovered. officials say the fees are pending.

August 25, 7:50 p. m. – A 28-year-old boy was shot in the right leg and approached the head at the corner of Linden Blvd and Hemlock Street in East New York, Brooklyn.

Victim transferred to Brookdale Hospital in solid condition. No additional information on this case was provided through the 75th District Police.

Ny York police are asking the public to identify the guy on CCTV wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting on August 9 at 1158 Boynton Avenue in the Bronx.

43rd Precinct police said a 27-year-old man hit his head because of a hail of a guy who fled to Boynton Avenue.
