He said two men, aged 23 and 25, and a 23-year-old woman died in the crash and a 25-year-old woman was hospitalized.
“We checked to verify that 4 Ukrainians were traveling in a car with Polish plates. They lived in Wroclaw,” Kacka said.
He added that it is most likely that two of those who died in the crash were married.
According to initial police information, the driving force of the BMW car, in which the Ukrainians were driving on National Highway 91 towards the city of Katowice, lost the vehicle, hit a power pole at full speed and broke into two parts.
Two cars were also affected by the crash, but there were no casualties among the passengers of those vehicles.
