On Sunday night, a Chevrolet Tracker and a Subaru Outback collided head-on in the Greenwood domain of Highway 3 after the driver of the Chevrolet crossed the median line over icy roads into the trail of the Subaru coming from the opposite direction.
A passenger on the Tracker, a 62-year-old woman from Grand Forks, died at the hospital hours later, while the driver’s injuries were not life-threatening. No one in the Outback was seriously injured.
In sp. Chad Badry of the RCMP Highway Patrol said the first indications were poor road conditions, but the investigation is ongoing. Anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam video is asked to call 250-354-5180.
In Westminster, a pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle in the 700 block of Princess Street around 1:45 p. m. Sunday.

The user who crashed was discovered unconscious by New Westminster police, while the driver involved in the crash remained at the scene.
“This is a tragic event and our thoughts are with the family of this individual,” said Sgt. André Leaver. We have a giant team of researchers investigating how this happened, but we’re still in the early stages right now. “

On Friday afternoon, Penticton RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 97 near Lakehill Road in Kaleden.
An orange Honda Fit had collided with a black Hyundai Santa Fe. A 37-year-old Summerland man driving one of the vehicles was killed.
Keremeos Highway Patrol RCMP officers are investigating and requesting speed camera data or video to call 250-499-2250.
And early Monday afternoon, a crash involving two trucks in Prince George’s closed Highway 97 at Barney Creek Road.
The crash involved a five-ton truck heading north and a pickup truck, but the total number of occupants of the trucks is unclear, the corporal said. Jennifer Cooper.
At least one user was airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries.
Drivers in the domain are prompted to verify Drive B. C. For updates, they estimated the road would be closed until around nine p. m.
