Thousands of car enthusiasts attend the fourth classic car fair in the city of Arlington

Thousands of car enthusiasts on Saturday for the old car hall in the center-Ville d’Arlington. It included many of the automobiles and vintage trucks completely restored and maintained.

More than 220 old cars from the 1920s to the 1970s the streets.  

Those of old cars in northern Texas and throughout the southwest of the United States have triggered their engines for the fourth annual show. An owner, Phil Reinsch, shared his hobby for the vintage car event.  

“It seemed to be a wonderful way to grow, expand it here in the city, see other people see those old machines and do not forget the old smart times,” Reinsch said.

Mike Ames won the exhibition last year and has 17 old cars. His son and grandson took the hobby to pursue cars and repair them.

“I am very active in many clubs,” said Ames. “I write a lot for magazines, etc. , and I just got the hobby for many years, and I know many people. It’s a bit like a brotherhood, almost. “

They love his uncommon Buick Skylark of 1954.

“They only built 836 of them with a very low production,” said Ames. “It is the only year that they built this flavor and this frame design. He thought that as a Buick sports car. It is a V8, it has an automatic transmission. “

The screen also included a live DJ, music and food trucks. The cash of the occasion will return to the Network of the city of Arlington. The mayor of Arlington, Jim Ross, won the exhibition and tried the mayor’s choice award.
