Gasoline and diesel prices fell to their lowest point in several years at the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
However, they temporarily began to back off as a call for construction when the blocking restrictions eased, and motorists felt the build-up in their pockets.
Fortunately, there is an undeniable trick that motorists may save a fortune on fuel costs, the Daily Star reports.
Simple piracy will also prevent road users from exceeding the fuel allocation in the pump.
Motorists can set a limit on the amount of fuel to put in their car even before lifting the nozzle, pressing the number 10 or number 1 button on a pump to set a limit on the amount to be spent.
The little trick is to help drivers who may only have a certain amount of cash to control their expenses at the pump.
It can also prevent road users from overfilling the vehicle’s fuel tank.
Once a number is scheduled on the pump, drivers can know how much they would like to spend.
The value of gasoline can vary from region to region, with value comparison sites showing that unleaded costs varied from up to four cents according to the liter across the UK.
By sharing it on social media, this trick has caught the attention of motorists.
The user shared a symbol of a Tesco esplanade where a decal explained how road users can simply set a limit.
He said: “Before you lift the nozzle, tell the bomb exactly how much to put in and you will avoid it.”
However, not all pumps at gas stations have this function, so drivers monitor them before spending more than they can afford.
