This Honda Civic desperately wants to be a Lamborghini Huracán

The clever old Honda Civic. Es prized for its simplicity, reliability and practicality, but in its distinct form to the Si or Type R, it has never been the most desirable car on the market. The owner of this Civic thinks that the modifications that have been made changes to make it much more desirable than it once was. We’re not so sure.

What you’re looking for is a Civic adorned with a number of Lamborghini-inspired pieces to make it stand out. From the shape of the roof, it looks like an eighth-generation model. A number of tweaks have been made to the exterior of the car, but we wouldn’t go so far as to call it a Lamborghini reproduction but a Civic, with some Huracán-inspired elements.

This is especially evident at the front, where the car’s popular fairing has been completely ditched and replaced with a custom-made bumper with huge triangular air intakes. There’s also a wide, open grille finished in black, a white front splitter, and shaped headlights. At Huracan. La lower part of the bonnet has also been changed to give it a slightly more aggressive look.

Nothing on the sides of the Honda makes Lamborghini scream, however, the influence of the Italian logo is visual from the rear. The most striking detail is the red stripe placed on the Y-shaped side rear, mimicking the soft signatures that many Lamborghini models have had over the years. A large rear spoiler, an ambitious new diffuser and relocated exhaust outlets add to the car’s aggressiveness.
