This Ford is up for auction.
An original 1973 Ford XA GT RPO83, revised for a vehicle made in his suit, will be auctioned on August 29.
The XA GT RPO 83 is a variant of the popular Ford GT sports car and is under the Hammer of Lloyd’s Auctions.
“Cars in their original state, with chrome bumpers, a celebrity association, or a primary story or rarity are the assets that take the maximum value,” Lee Hames, Lloyds Auctioneers’ chief operating officer, said in a statement.
In July, a 1973 Ford Falcon XA GT RPO “Chicken Coup” sold for $300,909 at auction, according to Car Sales.
Lloyds Auctions expects Ford to “break records” this weekend. The auction space guilty of selling a 1969 Holden HT Monaro 57D for $750,000 in June, the highest value ever obtained for an Australian Holden auction.
