These sunglasses are made with components from McLaren’s newest F1 car

We have noticed much innovation in the Wise glasses this year, but the most great glasses I saw in 2023 have that functionality. Instead, they have a piece of McLaren F1 2023.

This is true, the tokas from the McLaren Sungod McLaren winners edition collection are sunglasses involving car fiberbonus from Lando Norris’ car or Piastri from Osautomobile from the season that just ended. Featuring the remarkable papaya logo and an exclusive number, each pair is committed to one of the team’s historic 183 victories, with a race number on the lens and an accompanying plaque. Yes, that means there are only 183 pairs.

That might be the coolest thing I have ever heard. As a die-hard McLaren fan, I would do unspeakable things for the pair dedicated to Jenson Button’s Canadian GP victory in 2011 (the best race I have ever seen) where he led for only half a lap of over an over four-hour race. It was truly a racing miracle.

Considering the millions that go into developing an F1 car, a £450/$550 price tag for a piece of history seems pretty good value, especially considering both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri look like potential future world champions. The Tokas themselves are stylish shades that feature 100% UV protection and a lifetime guarantee.

For a more affordable gift with the McLaren theme, there are the 60th anniversary tokas of McLaren, which also look elegant. With a price of £ 110/$ 140, they have an exclusive McLaren flavor and come with a fairly elegant -looking microfiber bag.

The 2023 season would arguably have been a sparsely contested one in the drivers’ championship (thanks Max), but it was a watershed year for McLaren, who have become a normal podium contender for the first time in several seasons. It continues to improve so temporarily and has a smart off-season to expand the 2024 car, wonderful things can be imagined next year too. Whether you’re at Silverstone, Monaco or the Las Vegas Strip, those McLaren glasses will do it. to be the envy of the spectators in the stands.
