Production of the new McLaren 765LT began before deliveries in late September, and it turns out that the newest long-tailed supercar is even faster than McLaren thought. When the 765LT was first announced in March, McLaren said it would. 0 to 124 mph in 7. 2 seconds and will complete the quarter mile in approximately 10 seconds. But after the final tests, it turns out that the 765LT will be 0-124 in 7. 0 seconds flat and a quarter mile in 9. 9 seconds.
Let it penetrate. The 765LT will succeed at 124 mph before passenger cars reach it even at 60 mph. As a reminder, the 765LT uses a twin-engine 4. 0-liter V8 that develops 755 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and the 765LT weighs up to 176 pounds less than the 720S on which it is based. The 765LT also has a number of design settings for increased aerodynamics (including this longer tail), advanced chassis components, larger breaks and more.
McLaren also took the opportunity to showcase two 765TL created through MSO (McLaren Special Operations), the branding department that can make any customer’s dreams come true. The first is called Strata and features a three-tone design theme that animates through the roofs of a city. Cherry black paint covers the front fins and nose component, merging with the red Memphis on the front of the car that turns into the orange of the Azores as it heads backwards. The car took 390 hours to paint by hand, and the live terrace is collected in some internal details.
The other MSO 765LT has a completely finished frame made of exposed carbon fiber, which McLaren says was created in reaction to visitor demand. This is the first time that a “normal” McLaren other than one of the hypercars in the Ultimate series will be presented through with a visual carbon frame, and this example is the popular bright and soft carbon, there are several color features available. Both MSO 765LT are supplied with features such as ventilated front fins, more carbon fiber moldings and extremely cool roof shovel.
