Modern disc brakes basically consist of 3 portions: a rotor, a brake caliper and pills. The rotor is connected to the genuine wheel of your car, and when the brake pedal applies, the clamp presses the brake pads on the rotor, applying friction to stop it.
If it catches it early, you can update the rings and piston bearings. If you let it continue for a long time, your engine can throw in all likelihood, causing total reconstruction. If your car is one of your valuable goods, a reconstruction can be valued. If it is only a battery, it would be possible to look at some other car.
