Isuzu unveiled the revamped MU-X in Thailand, introducing a number of visual and technological upgrades while retaining its ladder chassis and diesel engine options. This three-row SUV, very similar to the Isuzu D-Max pickup, now offers a new RS variant. with sportier design elements, in addition to the top-of-the-range Ultimate finish.
Compared to the second-generation Isuzu MU-X that debuted in late 2020, the mid-life update adopts a completely redesigned face. The grille is larger and comes with steeper bumper air intakes and sharper LED headlights. At the rear, Isuzu designers incorporated full-width LED taillights and made changes to the rear bumper.

The new RS trim stands out for its chrome grille, moldings around the air intakes, front skid plate and rear bumper extensions. It also features an exclusive set of 20-inch black alloy wheels, complemented by matching finishes for the fenders and roof. In addition, lime green details adorn the RS badge and the intermediate covers.
Inside, a new 7-inch screen joins the tool cluster, accompanied by an updated 9-inch infotainment formula with support for Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay. In addition to the refreshed dashboard, the seats and door panels have been redesigned to provide a more premium aesthetic. The RS variant features black inserts and red ambient lighting, while the Ultimate trim features truffle brown leather upholstery with matching inserts.
The protective appliance has been updated with a new camera that supports a variety of ADAS. Depending on the trim level, these come with lane-keeping assist, traffic jam assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic brake. Under the hood, the Isuzu MU-X continues with its two turbodiesel options.
