WEST POINT, Georgia (WTVM) – A man from Cartersville, Georgia, died after a twist on the structure of fate at the Kia siege at West Point. Troup County coroner Jeff Cook told reporters nine that Ollie Tate, 47, killed Tuesday morning.
Randy Jackson, Kia’s human resources director, said it was an unhappy day for Tate’s family as well as Kia’s family. According to Jackson, Tate ran for a subcontractor and climbed metal around 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday. He was taken to West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, where he was pronounced dead an hour later.
The specific main points of the destination spin are not being cast at this time. The cause is investigated through Kia and OSHA. Prior to Tuesday’s twist of fate, there had been no incidents of protection on the site.
Tate has a circle of relatives in Columbus, and Jackson expressed his deep sadness for the company. He said Kia was doing everything he could to help Tate’s circle of relatives this time.
