The truck’s driving force escapes electrocution in Ogun

A truck driver, who knew himself as Azeez, escaped electrocution on Monday after his vehicle with registration number Ogun LAR 700 YD, which used to send gravel, knocked down electrical wires.

The incident, which occurred on Monday at approximately 5:15 p.m. along Association Avenue on the Arigbede network in the ifo local government domain of Ogun state, a momentary force disruption.

The driving force allegedly escaped death through the whiskers avoiding walking on one of the bare wires.

Residents, who rushed out of their homes, were returned through an organization of men who blocked the way to prevent unsuspecting passers-by from walking on harmful bare wires.

While two of the cables later fell on the ground, the remaining one firmly trapped between the body and the edge of the IVECO truck’s cargo bed.

Apparently too surprised to communicate how the incident occurred, the driving force can only give its name, but an eyewitness testified that the truck’s loading platform had hung about 3 wires after dropping its contents at a structure site.

The witness, who did not mention his name, said the driving force jumped out of the truck after hearing other people scream that he had lowered the wires.

He said: “The driving force is still surprised and cannot speak now. You can see that two of the 3 cables are on the ground while one is connected to the truck. The driving force temporarily left the car and the car restless enough not to. have stepped on some of the wires.

“If I had stepped on one of the wires, it would have been a dead man. But we thank God he didn’t. One of the owners of the domain called NEPA (Disco Ikeja) officials disconnected the power supply.”

However, the driving force (Azeez) did not leave until the electric power distribution company entered, a fuse that supplies the domain before connecting the line.

However, the force regained the excitement of the citizens of the Avenue Association in less than two hours as nightclub officials worked to fix the fallen wires.
