The Pineville District is very happy with the replacement of the new substation.

Those who opposed the location of the Miller Road site argue that a substation on this road would generate more traffic and make the domain less for other people living nearby. Some also feel that it would have upset those sharing the site. near the flea market.

A Pineville council member said he considered it a victory for the city and its citizens. He added that this will allow the domain to continue to grow while also giving citizens what they need to see.

Pineville will still have to acquire the new easements, but executives say they still expect the station to be operational until September 2026.
