A home, gardening and puppy shop to take over an old car showroom in Lincolnshire.
Plans submitted to the North Kesteven District Council to turn Lincoln Road’s former troop garage, Leadenham, into a commercial space.
If approved, you’ll take over The Country Store, a store that offers home parts, landscaping and pets.
The store was founded on LMS on Grantham Road, Wellingore, for 8 years, but the owner says he now has to move out after the LMS is even though everything is closed.
In a statement to NKDC, the applicant stated that it had been difficult to find another position to discover the business and that the new location was the most productive possibility of proceeding to serve customers.
They added that these visitors would come from cliff villages such as Navenby and Wellingore, as well as from fartheraway places in places like Sleaford, Grantham, Metheringham and Stapleford.
It says: “Being located on the Leadenham site, we will be in a fair position to continue serving our existing recruitment domain and, in the future, be able to offer our products/services in a location readily available from the A17 and beyond.
“Having developed this thriving branch of the company for more than 8 years, I bought it to get lost with the company’s old closure, which would be a huge loss for all our consumers we are looking for after so long.
“Moving to Leadenham is not far away and we can offer our facilities to everyone we already deal with, as well as provide service to new consumers in this local neighborhood.”
According to the plans submitted to the City Council, no adjustments would be made outside the building, which is located in a heritage conservation area.
The applicant states: “The proposed use substitution will have no negative effect on the domain as the construction will not be replaced or expanded under any circumstances.
“The existing external footprint will remain the same, and if something has a tenant in the construction it will be more advantageous in the long run as it will look and will not let the construction get worse over time.”
So far, the app has won two letters of support, and a user who lives at Leadenham said he was happy to listen to the plans.
“The old showroom has been closed for a while, so the prospect of these assets no longer vacant is news in my opinion,” he said.
“I think the new store will bring more assistance and a source of income to the village, which can only be good news.
“I’m about to see the opening of this store and I can see it will be well used by local residents.”
