The Nissan Frontier van traveled more than a million miles swapped for a new pickup truck

Brian Murphy is an independent Chicago delivery power force that has been handling his 2007 Frontier for about thirteen hours a day since he bought it.

FOX NEWS CARS TEST DRIVE: THE NISSAN FRONTIER 2020 IS AN OLD TRUCK THAT IS YOUNG AT HEART

Nissan took his truck to the Chicago Motor Show in February to help launch the updated 2020 style and announce a new Frontier logo coming in 2021.

Murphy traveled more than 800,000 miles with his Frontier before converting the clutch, which he might not want to do with the new one, which is only available with a 9-speed automatic transmission and a 3.8-liter V6.

Nissan won’t be sending the old truck, which still has its original four-cylinder engine and runs and looks great, to the scrap heap. Instead, it’ll be put on display at the Smyrna Vehicle Assembly Plant in Smyrna, Tenn., where it was built.
